Paul A. "Doc" Devine

Paul A. "Doc" Devine, of Norwood passed away on March 1, 2024. He was 66 years old.


Born in Boston, Doc was a graduate of Roslindale High School. Following high school, he earned his associates degree in culinary arts from Newbury College in Brookline. He later worked for many years as a custodian for Norwood Public Schools.


Doc was an avid cook, always eager to try new things, but also very comfortable preparing some traditional hearty favorites like ribs and meatloaf. He enjoyed watching professional wrestling, which he had done since watching with his grandparents as a little boy. Doc was happiest around his family, especially at their vacation home in Maine.


Doc was the dear and devoted husband of Patrice "Patti" (King) Devine of Norwood. Loving father of Scott Devine of Norwood. Dear brother of Kathy Devine and her husband Kevin Foley of Braintree, David Devine and his wife Mary of Hull and Steve Devine and his wife Jill of South Carolina. Dear godfather of Michelle Ramoska. Loving son of the late Paul A. Devine Sr. and Edna (Karo) Devine. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. NORWOOD. Funeral Prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m.
