Paul was born in Boston and raised in Southie. He attended St. Brigid Grammar School and graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in 1970. After graduation, he was employed at Liberty Mutual and later at the New England Life Insurance Company while attending night courses at Suffolk University. After completing his BS in business administration in 1980, Paul continued at Suffolk to earn a Masters degree in1985. For almost 30 years he served as CFO at several companies in the Greater Boston area until taking early retirement in 2014.

Although he was a successful businessman, Paul’s first and foremost love was his wife and teammate Peggy of 50 years and his children Stephen and Jenny. Throughout their childhood he wore many hats as soccer coach, assistant scout leader, sideline cheerleader and taxi service to proudly and lovingly be active in their lives. He cherished the many nature walks, beach days, family vacations and gatherings of family and friends that gave him precious memories of happy times. Most recently Paul enjoyed being the loving Papa to his granddaughter Scarlett.
