Paul M. Joseph Sr.

Paul M. Joseph Sr. of Norwood passed away on March 3, 2024. He was 93 years old.


Born in Waterville, Maine, Paul was a graduate of Colby College. He was a proud United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Following his service, Paul worked for many years as an Investigator for the Federal Government. In the mid 1960's, he worked actively in Alabama, Louisiana and other southern states to insure proper voting rights following Lyndon B. Johnson's Voting Rights Act.


Paul was a "Mr. Fix-it," who could fix anything and loved auto repair. He was an avid gardener and a life-long fan of the Boston sports teams, especially the Celtics. He enjoyed politics, reading and American history and was happiest surrounded by his loving family at their gatherings, especially at the beach or at their home on Cape Cod.


Paul was the dear and devoted husband of the late Eileen (Maloney). Loving father of Kathleen Joseph and her husband Steven Griffin of E. Walpole, Georganne Joseph and her husband Bruce Willey of E. Walpole and Paul M. Joseph Jr. of Norwood. Dear brother-in-law of Barbara Joseph and Ruth Joseph, both of ME. Loving son of the late Marron and Annie (Rumya) Joseph. Dear brother of the late Joseph Joseph, Edward Joseph, Lena Khoury, George Joseph, John Joseph, Peter Joseph, Elias Joseph, Mary Castleman and Alfred Joseph.


Paul's funeral will be from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St. NORWOOD, Friday March 8, 2024 at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Thursday March 7, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Paul will be laid to rest with his beloved Eileen at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
