Peter J. Carchedi

CARCHEDI, PETER J. a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away on January 15, 2018 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Joan V. (Michenzie) Carchedi. Devoted Father of Cheryl A. Hansen and her husband Edward of Hanover and the late David A. Carchedi. Brother of Rosetta Gofreed of FL and the late Joseph Peter Carchedi, Donald Anello, Foca Anello Jr., Laura Gunter, Victoria Anello and Beatrice Sennett. Son of the late Foca A. and Theresa (Gemelli) Carchedi. Cherished Grandfather of Edward Hansen III, Angela Oza and Elizabeth Hansen. Great Grandfather of Layla Giovanna Oza. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Peter was a member of the Walpole Country Club and former member of the Norwood Knights of Columbus. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Saturday Jan. 20, 2018 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to St Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
