Philip Eugene Dimattia

DiMATTIA, PHILIP Eugene of Milton, formerly of Norwood passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Marie T. (Giuggio) DiMattia. Devoted father of Philip E. DiMattia Jr. of FL, Paul J. DiMattia and his late wife Karen of FL, Ann Marie DeStephano and her husband Mark of FL and Susan T. McDermott and her husband Paul of Milton. Brother of Marie T. Giglio of Stoneham, John DiMattia of NH and the late Joseph DiMattia. Cherished grandfather of Gregory, Andrea, Serena, Jonathan, Nicholas and Lauren. Great grandfather of Piper and Reese. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Eugene and Amelia (Pasqua) DiMattia. Philip was a member of the Boston Druggist Association (BDA) and the Catholic Alumni Association. Philip was also a Korean War US Army Veteran. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 8:30am-10:00am at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral mass will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 10:30am at St. Timothy’s Parish, Norwood, MA. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.
