Richard "Dick" A. Reynolds

REYNOLDS, RICHARD A. of Norwood MA, Rhode Island and WV passed away on November 27, 2025 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Ann (MacDonald) Reynolds. Devoted father of Richard K. Reynolds and his wife Lori of TX and Stephen D. Reynolds and his wife Irene of WV. Cherished grandfather of Mary Catherine Reynolds and Evan Joseph Terrance Reynolds. Great grandfather of Avery Sean Reynolds. Richard was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. Richard, "Dick", born in 1928, the youngest of 6 children, was raised in Norwood, graduating from Norwood High School in 1947. He worked at Plimpton Press and then Radio Frequency after serving in the USAF. Dick and Evelyn married in 1955 and settled their family in Norwood. Dick and Evelyn moved to Coventry RI in 2013 and enjoyed many years watching their grandchildren grow. Dick loved supporting them in soccer and later track. He became a fixture with the Bishop Hendricken cross country and track teams where he was affectionately known as "Pops". The team named a hill at Rocky Point Park "Pop's hill" because Pops would stand in the middle of that hill and encourage the boys as they practiced. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4-7pm at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday December 6, 2025 at 10am. Burial will follow the funeral home service at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA.
