Richard J. Perry of Norwood, MA. On October 20, 2021 Richard passed away at the age of 82. Ricky was born in Boston on December 12, 1938, the much loved fifth child of nine children born to Mary Perry. Ricky was predeceased by three brothers, George, Robert and David. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia McCafferty of Westwood, Pauline DiSangro and her husband John of Norwood, Nancy Spognardi and her husband Andrew of Dedham, Susan McCarthy and her husband Ronald of Norwood, and his brother Edward of Norwood. He is also survived by 94 loving nieces and nephews, and their spouses. Ricky loved his large family. Ricky was a good and generous man. He was compassionate, and just a great person. He always took the time to help others. Ricky had a passion for anything mechanical, and he had a knack for analyzing and fabricating that special needed piece that helped solve a problem. Ricky was a long-time crane operator and a member of Local 4 Union. Ricky was a co-founder of Mrs. Perry's Preschool in Norwood, MA. Visitation at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home in Norwood, MA will be Friday, Oct. 29 at 9:00am to 12:00pm. Internment will be private.
