Richard M. Roche Sr.

ROCHE, Richard M. Sr. of Norwood passed away on January 24, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 68yrs to the late Margaret M. (McGee) Roche. Devoted father of Maureen C. Roche of Norwood, Richard M. Roche Jr. and his wife Phyllis of Norwood, Kathleen Roche of Centerville, John J. Roche and his wife Marisa of Franklin, Christine M. Gagnon and her husband Gary of Sandwich and the late Thomas Roche. Brother of Claire Shields of Scituate, Michael Roche of Nantucket, Twins Robert Roche of Foxboro and Ann Downey of W. Roxbury, David Roche of Dennis and the late Dorothy Keylor. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Son of the late Michael and Catherine (Mulhern) Roche. Richard was a retired Truck Driver for the Local Teamsters Union. A funeral mass will be held on Friday Jan. 29, 2016 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. At the request of the family visiting hours will be omitted and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Autism Speaks - New England Chapter 85 Devonshire Street, 9th Floor Boston, MA 02109. WWII and Korean War US Marine Corps Veteran.
