Ricky was a lifelong resident of Norwood MA, where he was the legendary little league coach of the Pirates. A retired employee of PJ Hayes, where he spent many years working alongside his brothers and sons.
Gaining a love of drum corps through his parents with the 21st Lancers, Rick devoted his life to volunteering in the activity, especially with the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps. Rick was a hardworking humble leader of the Boston Crusaders and fleet crew, but most importantly he was the donut king! Rick truly loved all of the kids that marched in the corps and they loved and looked up to him. He was a proud member of both the Boston Crusaders and MA Drum Corps Hall of Fame. Most recently Rick was awarded the high honor of DCI volunteer of the year, recognition that meant the world to him.
The outpouring of support from the members of the Striking Beauties boxing for Parkinson's will never be forgotten.
Ricky was a family man. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by his family.
A husband, a father, a brother, a papa, a GIANT!
