Robert G. Carver

CARVER, ROBERT G. of Norwood passed away on Jan. 22, 2016 at the age of 77 with his family at his side. Beloved husband of 53 years to Ellen J. (Carlson) Carver. Devoted father of Douglas Carver of Norwood and Robert Carver Jr. and his wife Linda of Narragansett, RI. Brother of Joseph Carver of Walpole and the late Louise Martell, Dorothy Murphy and Nancy Porazzo. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren Catherine and Samantha and many nieces and nephews. Bob attended Dedham Schools growing up and then went on to work for Boston Edison in the Underground and retired at the age of 55. Bob was a member of the Norwood Elks and Walpole Fish and Game Club. He was a US Navy Veteran. At the request of the family all services and burial will be private. A gathering in Bob's memory will be at a later date.
