Robert Edward Dalton Sr.

DALTON, ROBERT Edward Sr., retired Norwood Firefighter passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Janet Faye (Ross) Dalton. Devoted father of Robert E. Dalton Jr. and his wife Veronica of Norwood, Timothy W. Dalton and his wife Patricia of Seekonk and Donna F. Brown and her husband Mark of Norwood. Brother of Edward O'Connor of SC and the late John W. Dalton Jr., William T. Dalton and Gary J. Dalton. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, David, Michaela, Jessica, Taylor and Lindsay. Great grandfather of Rylee, Cameron, Roland, Jackson and Ella. Son of the late John W. Dalton Sr. and Helen M. (O'Connell) Dalton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert was a 1957 graduate of Norwood High School. He was also a veteran and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957-1960. Robert was a coach and referee for hockey baseball, football and also the Challenger league in Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood. Funeral from the Funeral Home Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 10:30am followed by a funeral mass at 11:30am at St. Timothy's Parish, Norwood. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
