Robert F. Flavin

FLAVIN, ROBERT F. of Norwood passed away on Jan. 7, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Cornelia M. (Pappas) Flavin. Devoted Father of Donna Dion and her husband Richard of Taunton, John J. Flavin of Norwood, Brian Flavin and his wife Joanne of Norwood, Stephen P. Flavin and his wife Melissa of Norwood, Carol A. Cahill and her husband Kevin of Foxboro, Thomas E. Flavin Sr. and his wife Elizabeth of Plainville and the late Robert F. Flavin Jr and Julie A. Flavin. Father in Law of Patricia Flavin. Loving Brother of Jimmy Flavin of Somerville and the late John J. Flavin, Mary Walsh and Anna Rawley. Cherished Grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Son of the late John J. and Mary (Coffey) Flavin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert was a WWII US Marine Corps Veteran and a member of the Norwood American Legion. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Thursday Jan. 18, 2018 at 8am followed by a funeral mass at 9am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday Jan. 17, 2018 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery with USMC Military Honors.
