GRASSO, ROBERT PAUL a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away at Home peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on May 15, 2017 at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Kelly Anne Keady. Devoted father of Robert F. Grasso and his fiancée Christa Lawson of N. Attleboro, Mary Kate Grasso of Norwood and the late Teresa M. Grasso. Loving brother of William F. Grasso of Quincy, Elizabeth McColgan of RI and Maryann Graham and her husband Steven of Attleboro. Cherished grandfather of Gregory Robert Grasso. Son of the late Stanley and Carol J. (Hohmann) Grasso. Also survived by Helen and the late Frank Keady of Norwood, Frannie & Rose Keady of Mansfield, Shaun & Traci Keady of Norwood, Judy & Scott Glennon of Burlington, Kerry & Ed Reardon of Norwood, Barry & Kathy Keady of Norwood, his former wife Maurine Kane Grasso many, nieces, nephews and friends. Robert was Norwood High School graduate, a longtime Norwood little league coach and He enjoyed participating in competitive barbeque competitions. Bob was a long time passionate local softball player with the nickname "wheels" and was an avid sports fan, Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins etc. Robert was a retired Union Laborer and Mason. Family will meet on Friday May 19,2017 8:30am at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA and process to St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood for a funeral mass at 9am. Visiting hours will be omitted and burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood with Military Honors. US Army Vietnam Veteran.
