Robert T. Holm

Robert T. Holm, age 81, a longtime resident of Norwood, passed away after a period of declining health on the morning of Thursday, January 8, 2026, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of his devoted family at Ellis Nursing and Rehab in Norwood. He was the loving husband for 51 wonderful years to Mary (Mitchell) Holm.

Born in Boston, Robert was the only child born to the late Henry “Harry” Holm and Eleanor (Jordan) Holm. He was raised and grew up in the Dorchester section of Boston and was always proud of being “OFD” (originally from Dorchester). Robert was a reservist with the United State Marine Corps, spending time stationed at Camp LeJune, North Carolina.

A hardworking man with a great work ethic, Robert worked in the electrical utility field for Boston Edison and he was a proud member of Local 369. He was an underground cableman, taking pride in providing utility services that powered communities and residential homes.

Robert was a parishioner of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Norwood, and he was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

In his spare time, Robert was most happy when he was in the presence of his loving family. Together they enjoyed trips to the Cape, Catskills of NY, cruises to Bermuda, and his frequent trips to Castle Island in Boston.

In addition to his wife of 51 years, Robert is survived by his cherished and proud children: Michael Holm and his wife Heather, Matthew Holm and his wife Molly, and Kristen Holm; his 5 doting grandchildren: MaryKate, Timothy, Matthew, James, and Jacob; and also countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The Holm family would like to extended their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Ellis Nursing and Rehab and Beacon Hospice for their care and compassion for Robert over the recent years and in his final days.

Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend visitation for Robert on MONDAY, January 12, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA.

Funeral Services in commemoration of Robert’s life will commence on TUESDAY, January 13, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial for the repose of his soul, which will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in St. Timothy Catholic Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood, MA.

Robert will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
