Bob passed away under the loving care of Hospice on January 3rd, 2026, at the age of 74. 

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary (Slauenwhite) as well as his parents, Arthur and Julie. He leaves two sons; Eric and his wife Sarah, and Keith; granddaughters Addie and Emmy; siblings, Eddie and his wife Patsy, Artie and his deceased wife Michelle, Janice Head and her deceased husband Paul, Joanne Mistler and her husband Tim Dardinski, Judy Crowley and her husband Chris, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a graduate of Norwood High School where he met Mary, and they spent many happy years together. More recently, Bob lived in Gardner, Athol, and Richmond, VA. Bob loved to play his guitar. When he was unable to play, he listened to music and enjoyed looking at pictures he accumulated over the years. He also enjoyed eating ice cream and watching true crime stories as well as keeping up with current events around the world. He was a “news junkie”. Additionally, he was a faith filled person who enjoyed watching many different televangelists.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10:30 AM in Highland Cemetery. 320 Winter Street, Norwood. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 10:15 AM.
