JEWELL, RUTH T. (McCarthy) of Norwood passed away on March 11, 2021 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late George M. Jewell. Devoted mother of Michael P. Jewell and his wife Sheila of Randolph and Shirley A. Amoruso and her husband Louis of Mansfield. Sister of the late Raymond McCarthy, Paul McCarthy and Jackie Jackson. Sister in law of Florence Jewell of CA. Daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (Curran) McCarthy. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth and Matt Lacasse, Michael D. Amoruso, Michelle and Jon Foley and Alissa and Jim Marenghi. Great grandmother of Abigail, Ethan, Bria, Callie, Benjamin and Jewell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruth was member of TOPS, KOPS, Women's Club and Sodality at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Norwood and AARP. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Norwood Food Pantry and Nursing Home for Elks. A private funeral mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Norwood and burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood, MA.
