Sally Ann (Ryan) Postler

Sally Ann (Ryan) Postler, of Norwood, passed away on May 30, 2021. She was 87 years old.

Born in Florence, MA, Sally was a 1951 graduate of St. Michael's High School and a 1954 graduate of the St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsfield. She went on to work for over 40 years as a nurse at Milton Hospital, Boston City Hospital, Norwood Hospital and Wrentham State School. Sally was an avid Boston sports fan, especially her Red Sox and Celtics. She enjoyed taking walks, reading, and going to the movies. She traveled with her beloved James across the US by train, and to Florida several times. She was happiest surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.

Sally was the dear and devoted wife of the late James H. Postler. Loving mother of Michael Postler and his wife Teresa of Concord, Christopher Postler and his wife Cynthia of Norwood, David Postler and his wife Barbara of Glocester, RI and Robert Postler and his wife Elaine of Pembroke. Cherished grandmother "Grammie" of Victoria, Zachary, Kyle, Luke, Shane, Kimberly, Kathryn, Ryan, Sean, Amy and Allison and great-grandmother of Brooks. Dear sister of the late James and Matthew Ryan. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Lucy.

Sally's Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Timothy Church in Norwood. Visitation will be held Thursday 9-10 a.m. at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St. NORWOOD. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.

Sally will be laid to rest with her beloved James at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
