PORAZZO, SAMUEL M. Jr. a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away on February 23, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved Husband of Carole A. (Irving) Porazzo. Devoted father of Samuel J. Porazzo of Norwood, Melissa L. Porazzo and Casey Sharpe of NC, Cheryl A. Downs of RI, James E. Downs and his wife Ana of FL and Tracey A. Christo and her husband Greg of N. Andover. Brother of Mary Howard of Norwood and Joseph Porazzo of Milford. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Samuel M. Porazzo Sr. and Mary (Tracy) Porazzo. Sam was a retired Auto Body Technician and Auto Racing was his life. He was a member of NASCAR. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 from 5-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. At the request of the family burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the COPD Foundation 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134. National Guard Vietnam Era Veteran.
