Sherry Larrette (Hennington) Nevins

Sherry Larrette (Hennington) Nevins, of Norwood passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2023. She was 77 years old. Loving wife of 50 years of Joseph Nevins. Loving mother of Paul Nevins of Milford and Lori Calden of Acton. Cherished grandmother of Mable Calden of Acton. Daughter of the late Judy and Paul Hennington.
Sherry was born in Oklahoma and brought up in New Mexico where she met her husband. They moved to Massachusetts in 1972. She was a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University. Years later she attended Newbury College and worked as a medical assistant until poor health forced an early retirement.
Sherry was very active in both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and took her Girl Scout Troop on trips to Washington D.C., Quebec City, and Switzerland.
Her final years were spent quietly at home after developing dementia.
Sherry was laid to rest at a private service at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
