Stella T. (Okulovich) Vlahos

VLAHOS, STELLA T. (Okulovich) a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away on August 27, 2018 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late John Vlahos. Devoted mother of Stephen J. Vlahos of Norwood, Patricia Herter and her husband John of FL, Carolee MacPherson and her husband William of Rockland and John Vlahos of Norwood. Sister of the late John G. Okulovich, Joseph Okulovich, Edward Okulovich, Nellie Marks, Mary Peshin and Ann Sala. Daughter of the late John and Anne (Ketwirtz) Okulovich. Cherished grandmother of Christine, Christopher, Shawn, Teresa and Mark. Great grandmother of Coryn and Tyler. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Stella graduated from Katherine Gibbs secretarial school. She was a retired secretary at Plimpton Press and also retired from Western Union in Boston. She owned and operated the Wing Ding restaurant in South Norwood and also owned and operated Russell's Diner in Quincy. After her retirement she was a customer service rep. for Filene's Basement in Dedham until they closed. Stella enjoyed traveling extensively in Europe, South American and Florida. At the request of the family all services will be private. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home Norwood, MA.
