Thomas Bernard Corcoran

CORCORAN, Rev. Thomas B of Norwood passed away suddenly on May 17,2022 at the age of 67. Beloved son of late Thomas M. and Cecilia M (Lynch) Corcoran. Brother of Stephen J. Corcoran and his wife Lisa of Norwood, Joanne Regan and her husband Michael of Norwood and Martin T. Corcoran and his partner Thomas Caravella of Provincetown Ma. Father Tom was also blessed with several nieces and nephews. Stephen T. Corcoran of Attleboro, Ashley Corcoran Eddy and her husband James Eddy of Wrentham Ma. Michael T Regan, Cecilia K Regan, Julia S Regan, and Sean M Regan all of Norwood Ma. Father Tom grew up in Norwood and was a member of the class of 1973. He Graduated from Bentley College in 1977, Majoring in Business and Accounting. He held positions in several high-profile fortune 500 Companies before deciding his true calling was becoming a Catholic Priest at the age of almost 40. Father Tom entered Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary. He said his first mass at St. Catherine's of Siena his home parish in May 1998. Since 1998, Father Tom has served many parishes before returning to his beloved family of St. Catherine of Siena in Norwood as senior priest in residence. He served faithfully until his retirement saying his final mass May 1,2022. He had planned to enjoy his retirement, but the lord had other plans calling him home only 2 weeks later. He will be sorely missed by the many friends, parishioners and family he kept in touch with over the years. Visiting hour will be held on Monday, May 23,2022 from 8:30am-9:30am at St. Catherine of Siena Church 547 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062. A funeral mass will be held at 10am at the church following his visitation. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood, MA.
