Blackstone, Formerly Norwood

Obituary

Thomas R. Deeb, age 74, of Blackstone and formerly of Norwood, passed away on the morning of Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

Born in Norwood, Tom was one of three children of the late Frederick and Lucille (Mike) Deeb. He was raised in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School with the Class of 1970.

Showing an eye for detail from a young age, Tom built a successful career in autobody repair. He had a vast knowledge and lifelong passion for cars, especially classics. Tom owned and operated his own autobody shop specializing in Corvette restoration and also worked for several autobody shops throughout his lifetime. He always took great pride in his work and will be remembered for his passion and craftsmanship.

His sense of humor and storytelling were unmatched - frequently reminiscing about old times, always ready with a story and a smile.

In his spare time, Tom enjoyed working on cars. His most beloved project was the restoration of the 1967 Ford Fairlane. Tom also loved motorcycle rides, but above all else, he treasured spending time with his friends and family.

Tom is survived by his devoted children, Tom Deeb and his partner, Derek Luke, and Rick Deeb and his wife, Kim Deeb, both sons of Penny (Smith) Deeb; Isabel Deeb, Seth Dias and his wife, Brittany Dias, their children Greyson & Easton Dias and Justin Dias and his children Hunter, Ryder & Amelia Dias, children of Robin Dias. He will be deeply missed by his beloved grandchildren, Karley Deeb, Penny Deeb, and Chloe Deeb. He is also survived by his sister, Maxine Taylor and her husband, Jim, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in passing by his brother, Fred Deeb Jr.

Tom will be remembered for the love of his work and most importantly, the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Visiting hours will be held on WEDNESDAY, July 22, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood.

Thomas will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery in Norwood at a later date.
