Thomas (Tom) Willard Martel passed away at age 78 on February 14. Tom left us on what would have been his 43rd wedding anniversary with his late wife, Aurora. It brings us peace to know that they are together once more in Heaven. 

Tom was a fierce and loving father, as well as a talented artist and tradesman. He owned his own frame and art gallery for many years, and art was a passion of his. After that, he spent many years as a life insurance agent. 

He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War, and was a decorated veteran. He cherished his family, and loved to spend time with them, especially with his granddaughter. 

He is survived by his daughter AnneMarie Martel, granddaughter Mariella Rivera, stepson Mark Fitzpatrick, sister Susan Martel, niece Lisa Martel, daughter MaryAnne McMaster, and nephew Ryan Martel. 

A celebration of life will be held this spring.
