January 24, 1946 — August 30, 2023

Timothy Kennedy, of Norwood, passed away on August 30, 2023. He was 77 Years old.

Born and raised in Norwood, Timothy was quick with the one-liners and was an avid music lover. He played guitar in a band called "Ron and the Night Rockers" who played with Ike and Tina Turner and Roy Orbison. Tim worked for many years in the Local Carpenter's Union and there wasn't much he couldn't fix. He could, at times, come off as a know-it-all, but he was a lovable know-it-all. He was a self-proclaimed "Michelin Star Chef," who loved to cook and was not shy about sharing his opinions of everyone else's cooking. Tim enjoyed watching Columbo and his beloved 3 Stooges. He loved to be surrounded by his family, but also enjoyed sitting in his car with a hot cup of coffee, listening to his favorite music.

Timothy was the loving father of Amy Lahiff and her husband Stephen of Attleboro and Timothy Kennedy and his wife Kimberly of Norwood. Cherished "Grampy" of Liam, Colin, Quinn, Michael, Brendan and Francesca. Loving life-long companion of Helen Cummings of Norwood. Dear brother of Gerard Kennedy and his wife Joan of Norwood, Mary Ellen Torraco of Norwood and the late Dennis Kennedy and Michael Kennedy. Dear brother-in-law of Marjorie Kennedy of Walpole. Loving son of the late Patrick and Dorothy (Powers) Kennedy. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
