O’Gorman, Tracey Ann of Plainville, formerly of Mansfield, Wrentham and Walpole passed away on April 7, 2025 at the age of 57. Beloved daughter of the late Richard J. and Pauline M. (Roslauskas) O’Gorman. Devoted mother of Tamara Fairbanks of Plainville and Kylin Carnie of Medway. Loving sister of Maureen E. Metayer and her husband David of Norwood and Kelley M. Poitras and her husband Michael of S. Walpole. Cherished aunt of Erin, Danny, and Bryan Metayer of Norwood and Jake Christy of Manchester, NH. Also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Tracey was born on March 25, 1968 in Norwood and grew up in Walpole. Tracey attended Walpole High School, graduating with the class of 1986. She attended Westfield State College and worked many years as a receptionist at a hair salon in Westwood. Tracey lived with Type 1 diabetes for 50 years, a testament to her courage and resilience.
Tracey was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend with a generous soul who was always one of the first people to offer a hand to help others. She enjoyed vacationing in New Hampshire with her family and friends, visiting the same area yearly for over 20 years. Her favorite way to pass time was sitting outside on her deck playing catch with her beloved dog, Roxy. Tracey had a fondness for all dogs, especially Boxer breeds and German Shepherds, often donating to various dog shelters and organizations over the years. Tracey enjoyed NASCAR races, following the Patriots and Bruins, and relaxing in the sun.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Pope Rehabilitation Center for their kindness and support for Tracey and her family over the past month.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street Norwood, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday April 15, 2025, at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tracey’s name to Pope Rehabilitation Activity Department 140 Webb St, Weymouth, MA 02188 or to any dog organization/rescue close to your heart.
