Violet M. (Masciarelli) Trainor

TRAINOR, VIOLET M. (Masciarelli) of Norwood passed away on June 21, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Robert P. Trainor. Devoted mother of Leslie J. Barone and her late husband Amico of Wilbraham, Janet M. Kelly and her husband Richard of Norwood and Marylou Scruggs and her husband Mitchell of South Carolina. Sister of Dorothy O'Neil of Dedham and the late Carol Connolly, Ann Paglia, Gus Masciarelli and Rosemary White. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer and her husband Matthew Cronin, Nicholas, Michael and his wife Jennifer Barone, Nicole, Morgan, Catherine and Ryan. Great grandmother of Lily, Grace, Jack, Luna and Birdie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Enos and Louise (Ventresco) Masciarelli. Violet was a retired Clerk for the Dedham District Court. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 10:30am at St. Timothy Parish, Norwood, MA. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Timothy Parish 650 Nichols St. Norwood, MA 02062.
