William J. Bowman

BOWMAN, WILLIAM J. of Dedham passed away on Feb. 20, 2017 at the age of 95. Born in Boston he lived in Dedham since 1952. Beloved husband of Barbara A. (Rozen) Bowman of Dedham and his late first wife Geraldine K. Bowman. Father of Donna Jean Fuller and her husband Steven Fuller and grandfather of their children Matthew and Kristen Fuller. Stepfather of Dennis and David Sulinski and grandfather of their children Ashley, Michael, Jason, Matthew, Megan and Joseph. Great grandfather of Emily, Hannah and William Fuller. Brother of Harry McLellan of Norwood, John McLellan of MI, Dorothy Trovato of Dedham, Margaret Murray of Norwood and the late Hugh and Anna. William was a US Navy Submarine Veteran in south pacific during WWII and the Korean War. He was a member and past commander of USS Jacob Jones Post VFW 2017, American Legion, DAV Chapter 42 of Dedham and the Submarine Veterans of WWII. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA Friday Feb. 24, 2017 at 9am followed by a funeral mass at 10am in St. Mary's Church Dedham, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday Feb. 23, 2017 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Blue Hill Cemetery Braintree, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to a veterans charity of your choice. WWII and Korean War US Navy Veteran.
