William "Billy" Joseph Carr

CARR, WILLIAM Joseph "Billy" of Norwood passed away on August 14, 2022 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Philomena "Phyllis" N. (Kennedy) Carr. Devoted father of Lisa A. Carr of Norwood, Brien Carr of Norwood, Kevin M. Carr of Norwood, Cindy J. Keady and her husband Jim of Norwood, John F. Carr and his wife Sandra of Mansfield, Kelly Weber and her husband Brian of Walpole and Debbie M. Rockett and her husband Mike of Mansfield. Brother of the late Dorothy, Bobby and Arnold. Cherished grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Son of the late William and Margaret (Finnegan) Carr. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Billy was a graduate of Norwood High School and was a Korean War, US Coast Guard Veteran. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, Friday August 19, 2022 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.
