William Raymond Turner Sr

TURNER, WILLIAM R. SR. of Norwood passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 98. Beloved husband of 70 years to the late Marion L. (McCall) Turner. Devoted father of William R. Turner Jr. and his wife Janet of Walpole, Julie Shea and her husband James of Salem, James Turner and his wife Danita of Chelmsford, Carol Camile and her significant other Mark Mollo of Cumberland, RI and David Turner and his wife Kim of Medway. Brother of Kitty Clancy of Millis and the late Arthur and John Turner. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Son of the Late Arthur and Catherine (Hayes) Turner. William was a retired Deputy Fire Chief for the Town of Norwood Fire Dept. working as a Firefighter for 30 years from 1954-1984. He was also a WWII US Navy Veteran with 100% disability.
