Winifred Patricia "Pat" (Mullin) Breen

Winifred P. Breen (Mullin) better known as "Pat", age 84, of Walpole, passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2023. Born in Brookline, MA on September 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Beatrice (McDermott) Mullin.


Pat grew up in Brookline, MA where she earned her registered nursing degree. She proudly worked for Brigham and Women's Hospital. After retirement, Pat could be found visiting Foxwoods with her sisters or at a candy store buying large amounts of fudge. Pat enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Larry. Over the course of their lives they owned multiple lakeside homes in New Hampshire. She enjoyed sitting on the picnic bench watching her grandchildren play water sports. At night, she relaxed by enjoying a strong cup of tea while watching one of her favorite shows, "Friends".


Pat was the dear and devoted wife of the late Lawrence "Larry" P. Breen. Loving mother of David Thomas Breen of Walpole, Christine Marie Cochrane and her husband Bruce of Walpole and Patricia Ann Magraw of Walpole. She was the cherished grandmother ,"Grammy", of Jessica Marie Cochrane, Melissa Ann Cochrane, Samantha Lynne Magraw and Zachary Thomas Magraw. Dear sister of Sheila L. Malloy of Walpole and the late Thomas M. Mullin, Frances A. Phipps, and Mary H. Powers. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held on Thursday morning January 26, 2023 from 8:30am-10:00am at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral mass at 10:30am will follow the visitation at St. Mary's Church E. Walpole, MA. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.
