Yolanda (Trecarichi) Segol

SEGOL, YOLANDA (Trecarichi) of Norwood formerly of Hyde Park and Milton passed away on August 31, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Herman Segol. Loving sister to Antonetta Ciarletta and her husband Andrew of Norwood, Carol Popielarczyk and her husband Edward of Easthampton, MA and the late Rita, Rose, Frank and Paul. She was also foster sister to Donna Ugate of FL and Susan Friedler of CA. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Gaetano and Carolina (Rabbiolo) Trecarichi. Yolanda was very generous and caring to her family and many friends. Her concern and compassion towards the underprivileged led her to donate to many charities. She was an avid reader and went ballroom dancing weekly for over 50 years. Singing in a senior choir brought her much joy and she enjoyed playing board games with her friends. She was also a longtime member of a local Hyde Park Senior Social Club and with her husband took many trips with them. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1284 Washington Street, Norwood from 10:30 a.m to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral mass at 12:30 p.m. at St. Timothy's Church, 650 Nichols Street, Norwood. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park, Ma. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St.Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. www.stjude.org .
