About Us
Since opening our doors, we’ve taken a unique approach to life and death. While many view the passing of a loved one as solely a time for grief, we see it as an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and even celebration. This perspective shapes everything we do, from the services we provide to the thoughtful amenities we offer. We are not just a resting place; we are a close-knit community focused on honoring, sharing, and preserving the remarkable stories that define a life.
Over the years, we’ve learned how to offer choices without overwhelming families and how to address the needs of many with care. In times of difficulty, we respond with compassion, calm, and expertise. Our goal is to create a meaningful experience and make you feel at ease, every step of the way. We collaborate closely with families, stay informed about industry trends, and do our best to make challenging moments a bit more manageable.

Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Inc. has been dedicated to serving families for many years, and guiding individuals through their most difficult moments is our passion. We take great pride in maintaining a peaceful, supportive environment where families can find comfort. Celebrating life has always been our mission—and we are committed to that for years to come.
- 1947 - Kraw-Kornack Funerral Home was founded by Paul H. Kraw. The original name was Paul H. Kraw Funeral Home, and was built in 1947, in Norwood, Massachusetts. The facility was built with two small chapels on one floor, for easy visitation.
- 1958 - In 1958, Paul's brother-in-law, George Kornack, joined him as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. In 1965 another addition was built onto the funeral home to make the chapels larger.
- 1975 - Sadly, in 1975 Paul H. Kraw died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 52. George Kornack took over as owner and Funeral Director, thus changing the name to Kraw Funeral Home.
- 1983 - In 1983 John Paul Kornack, son of George Kornack and nephew of Paul H. Kraw, joined the Funeral Home as an apprentice and in 1985 became a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. The funeral home was then named to Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home in 1985.
- 1987 - In 1987 another addition was built onto the front of the building, to enclose the steps in glass and make the front entrance larger.
- 1999 - In 1999, a major renovation took place at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, which added a third chapel with new restrooms that are handicap accessible.
